The Plan
We are going to leave as soon as we are ready, sail down the coast of california (from the San Francisco bay area) to mexico, and then cross the pacific to french polynesia (which passage is known as the “puddlejump”). Possibly departing mexico from the banderas bay area (Puerto Vallarta is in Banderas Bay, for a point of reference). We hope to get it together in time to do the puddlejump this spring, though that may be ambitious. Above all, we will remain flexible to weather and safety concerns. We intend to have fun on this trip, so if it feels that we’re rushing . . . we won’t.

Matt, I remember you talking about “the plan” on our walmart shoot. Recently re-found your web site and have enjoyed reading your blogs. Sail on – have fun. Linda
